UB Libraries play an integral role in the University at Buffalo’s ambitious goal to become one of the nation’s top-25 research institutions. As a dynamic incubator of learning and research, we focus on making knowledge more accessible to our students, Buffalo and the world.
With three campuses, six libraries and a robust off-campus repository, UB Libraries are the center of our university community, providing an exceptional array of information resources, technologies and services. UB students and faculty rely on the expertise of our librarians and staff to navigate today’s overwhelming information landscape and discover effective new tools that can be used to solve society’s complex challenges. UB Libraries infuses the academic enterprise of the University at Buffalo with a critical source of knowledge, engagement, and energy.
Your support helps UB Libraries – as the heart of the campus – beat even stronger.
Last year UB Libraries was selected by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for a challenge grant to help design the James Joyce Museum on the South Campus! We are now more than 2/3 of the way towards our goal of raising $300,000 in matching funds—and with your support today, we’ll be even closer to making this vision a reality. Help us create a public space for a global audience to discover and experience the UB James Joyce Collection, the largest and most comprehensive collection of Joyce materials in the world. All Giving Day gifts in support of the James Joyce Museum will go towards the NEH challenge grant.
Additionally, please consider supporting the other many important areas of UB Libraries. Gifts made to the UB Libraries have a significant impact on the innovative services the Libraries offer and help to ensure that their critical needs are addressed. Donations help the library acquire new resources, preserve existing materials, and provide cutting-edge technologies that offer multiple formats and improved access to information.
Thank you for showing your love for UB Libraries on Giving Day!
