President Tripathi's Participation Challenge
President Tripathi's Participation Challenge will award $15,000 to the UB Fund for the top three units that have the greatest number of donors during UB Giving Day. The first-, second- and third-place units will receive $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500, respectively for fostering active philanthropic engagement in UB Giving Day. *Results are not official, winners will be notified.*

School of Nursing Student Emergency Fund Challenge
When 30 donors make a gift to the Julia Buscaglia Student Emergency Fund in the School of Nursing, Dean and Professor Annette Wysocki will donate an additional $1,000. The Julia Buscaglia Student Support Fund was created to help UB nursing students through emergencies that may occur during their time here at the university. These funds offer temporary one-time financial assistance for immediate and current emergency situations. Emergencies involve circumstances which are beyond the student’s control, such as: death in the family, accident, loss of property, loss of income or unanticipated educational expenses.

President Tripathi's Highest Climbers Challenge will award $5,000 to the UB Fund for the top two units that have the greatest percentage increase of donors compared to last year's UB Giving Day. The first and second place units will receive $3,500 and $1,500, respectively for expanding our base of supporters and providing a solid foundation for future growth and impact. *Results are not official, winners will be notified.*

School of Nursing CRNA Program
School of Nursing CRNA alum, Ken Kirsner ‘85, will contribute $1,000 to the Ira P. Gunn Nurse Endowment Fund once 10 donors make a gift to the fund. This fund, which honors Gunn's legacy, provides support for student attendance at professional conferences, guest lectures, student research, purchasing of equipment for the program and student recognition awards.
