At UB’s School of Public Health and Health Professions, our faculty and students are dedicated to improving the health of people, communities, and entire populations through the education of the next generation of health professionals and research designed to prevent and deal with key health issues of today. We’ve already accomplished much, yet we know our students and faculty have the talent and desire to do so much more. So we’re raising our sights—and raising funds—to do more good. Make more change. President Tripathi's Participation Challenge
President Tripathi's Participation Challenge will award $15,000 to the UB Fund for the top three units that have the greatest number of donors during UB Giving Day. The first-, second- and third-place units will receive $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500, respectively for fostering active philanthropic engagement in UB Giving Day. *Results are not official, winners will be notified.*

Ms. Beth (Caffiero) Smietana, daughter of the late Dr. Alfred Caffiero beloved faculty member in the Rehabilitation Science program and founder of the DPT White Coat Ceremony, has generously agreed to match all gifts dollar for dollar to the Alfred T. Caffiero White Coat Ceremony Fund (up to $2,500).
