During UB Giving Day, we have a variety of challenges and matches spread across many programs. Explore the details of each challenge and match below, watch your favorite program move up on a leaderboard and see if your gift can be multiplied by some of our most generous donors!

WiSE STEM Outreach Program Match

Laura Hubbard, vice president for finance and administration will generously match all gifts (up to $5,000) made to the STEM Outreach Program, which supports mentorship programs for current UB students to mentor female students from local high schools who are interested in exploring STEM opportunities. These funds will help cover mentor stipends, reimbursement for travel to schools, transportation to bring high school students to UB and other event needs.

SUNY University Center Endowment Match

To spur the growth of SUNY university centers, the State of New York has established a fund that will match one dollar for every two dollars contributed by donors to new or existing endowed funds at UB. The University at Buffalo is eligible to earn up to $200 million in state funds, meaning donors have a limited time opportunity to see their contributions—and impact—grow rapidly.
