By supporting International Education at UB, you can help internationalize the university by enabling more of our students to benefit from study abroad, by supporting new international programs that enhance student learning, or by assisting international students in need. Your gift will make a big difference in the lives of the students we serve.

Funds that Support International Education

UB Fund for International Education

Created in 2020, this fund supports strategic priorities and areas of greatest need in international education.

Steven L. Shaw Memorial International Student Emergency Fund

This fund supports international students who encounter unexpected emergencies during their course of study at UB.

Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

This fund is the all-purpose scholarship fund supporting UB students on a wide variety of study abroad programs offered by UB and many other SUNY institutions.

Dr. Stephen Dunnett Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

This fund supports UB students in any field pursuing study abroad through a UB or SUNY program.

Yildizlar Education Scholarship Fund

This fund supports both undergraduate students in need from Turkey as well as students who pursue a study abroad opportunity in Turkey.

UB Alumni Singapore Community Leadership Award

This fund supports students from Singapore studying at UB.

President Tripathi's Participation Challenge

President Tripathi's Participation Challenge will award $15,000 to the UB Fund for the top three units that have the greatest number of donors during UB Giving Day. President Tripathi's Highest Climbers Challenge

President Tripathi's Highest Climbers Challenge will award $5,000 to the UB Fund for the top two units that have the greatest percentage increase of donors compared to last year's UB Giving Day. The first and second place units will receive $3,500 and $1,500, respectively for expanding our base of supporters and providing a solid foundation for future growth and impact. *Results are not official, winners will be notified.*
