UB Giving Day 2020

The word of the day is “thanks.” The 6th Annual UB Giving Day has officially ended, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all the support we’ve received over the past 24 hours. 

 

We know some of you still want to support UB Giving Day and make even more resources available to our students and support the great work being done at our university. 

 

Any gift made until midnight tonight will be counted toward UB Giving Day!



Our annual celebration of giving to the University at Buffalo feels different this year. The unrest in our country is elevated and historic. This is a time when causes and organizations and individuals need our time, attention and resources. This is a time for listening, thinking, compassion and action.

 

UB Giving Day will proceed, but we understand that our donors and alumni may have other priorities for support at this time. However, to honor the donors and organizations who have collectively pledged more than $300,000 in challenge donations to UB, we offer our alumni and friends the opportunity to contribute to UB.

 

Nelson Mandela said, "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." On Giving Day, and indeed every day, gifts to UB are an investment in educating the next generation of thinkers, doers, conveners and leaders.
